Quality control on this site is not a page added after production – it is a sequence of approval points that each order has to pass before it ships. This page explains those points so buyers know what is checked, when, and what evidence they receive.
1. Specification approval
Before anything is made, the specification is written down: standard, material, finish, dimensions, load ratings, packaging and the compliance requirements for the destination market. Nothing goes into production against a verbal description.
2. Sample approval
A physical sample is produced and shipped for buyer approval. For switches the sample is checked for finish, button feel, indicator colour, wiring and app behaviour. For furniture it is checked for dimensions, material, colour match, upholstery and assembly. The approved sample becomes the reference for the bulk order.
3. Incoming material check
Boards, veneers, fabrics, foam, housings and electronic components are checked against the approved sample and specification before they enter production, so a material substitution is caught before it becomes a finished product.
4. In-line inspection
Production is checked while it is running rather than only at the end. On the electrical side this covers assembly, wiring, insulation and function testing per unit. On the furniture side it covers joint construction, surface finish, upholstery stitching and hardware fitting.
5. Pre-shipment inspection
Before loading, the finished goods are checked against the approved sample for appearance, function, quantity, labelling and packing. Buyers receive an inspection report with photos, and video is provided for product or function checks that photos cannot show. Third-party inspection by the buyer’s own agency is welcome.
6. Packing and loading
Packing is matched to the handling standard of the destination market, including drop-test carton grades for furniture and moisture protection for sea freight. Container loading is photographed so the buyer can see how the shipment was stowed.
Compliance documentation
Switch products are produced against CE, RoHS, UKCA and FCC requirements depending on the market, with electrical safety and EMC reports issued per model. Furniture is produced against the emission and safety requirements applicable in the destination country. Buyers receive the reports that apply to the exact configuration quoted.
After delivery
If an item arrives damaged or outside specification, the inspection record, loading photos and the approved sample make it possible to trace what happened and resolve the claim quickly, including replacement parts in the next shipment.
